There are still two options. Use my library for free in open source software or pay for a license to use it in proprietary software.
I am making this software in my spare time - it is not part of my job and nobody is paying me for it. I don't think it is fair that others make profit on my work while I get nothing.
Speaking of video games, I think the time is ripe for open source games. An open source game can evolve. Anybody can make their own version with modifications and additions. I am sure there are many nerds around the world who think it is more fun to make new video games than to play them. This could be quite interesting to see. |
